With South Carolina due to hold its Democratic primary Jan. 26 and blacks expected to account for 50 percent of party ballots, polls show Obama now leading Clinton.
Obama's triumph in the Iowa caucuses was a catalyst for the change in sentiment because it demonstrated Obama can garner white support.
As a citizen and a minority, I feel that I am now voting with my heart, for Obama. Before Iowa, I was a Clinton fan, mainly, because I felt that America would not vote for a black president, but it's ON now!
